Ajanae Dorsey is a Senior majoring in Fashion Merchandising attending Clark Atlanta University. Throughout her matriculation of undergrad, she has achieved several accomplishments. Maintaining a GPA of 3.68, has several student leadership roles, and now holds the title of Miss Black South Atlantic USA in which she'll be competing for Miss Black USA in August 2023. Being raised in Decatur, Georgia, Ajanae knew she had to do more than be in the environment she grew up in. Ajanae has intentions of becoming an Entertainment or Fashion Lawyer in the future to give back to the youth not only in her community but worldwide also. Ajanae currently has 32k on Instagram and plans to expand her social media reach with her content creation and activism.
Ajanae's role model is the late Cheslie Kryst, former Miss USA 2019. Cheslie was an attorney, Television Correspondent, and social media influencer. Ajanae loved how Cheslie carried herself as Miss USA and has similar goals and inspirations as her.
Ajanae aspires to become Miss Black USA during her college career. She plans to use her skills in networking, activism and influencing to achieve this collegiate goal.
Ajanae has always dreamed of attending an HBCU and fashion is a strong passion of hers. Clark Atlanta has always been THAT school for her and transferring there was and still is the best decision she's ever made. There's no love like the love her HBCU has given her.
